Rising Futures Scholarship
This scholarship was created to support young people who have faced significant life challenges and are ready to pursue their goals through post-secondary education or trades training. In partnership with the original donor, the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre is proud to offer this opportunity to help reduce financial barriers and open doors to brighter futures.
The Rising Futures Scholarship will be awarded to a minimum of 2 individuals for $10,000 each, aimed to support the educational and career aspirations of young adults who have received support and services through the Sheldon Kennedy Centre of Excellence (SKCOE) and/or Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre. The recipients will demonstrate resilience and the desire to give back to the community. Whether pursuing a certificate, diploma, or degree program, recipients of this scholarship will benefit from financial support that can help reduce the burden of tuition fees and educational costs.
