What is Giving Tuesday?
Every day, charitable organizations in our region do the work that keeps our community strong.
They are the quiet infrastructure of care. They are the people and programs ensuring food reaches tables, youth find mentors, families find housing, and culture and creativity continue to flourish.
Charitable organizations aren’t an “extra” part of community life. They are community life. They connect neighbours, fill gaps, respond to crisis, and imagine better futures.
A healthy, vibrant Central Alberta depends on the strength of our charities, and those charities depend on our generosity.
That’s why for Giving Tuesday, a global movement that happens at the intersection of buying more & doing more good, we encourage you to join us shifting the focus of this season to generosity.
Join us in building stronger, more connected communities.
The Central Alberta Executive Directors Network, with the support of the Community Foundation of Central Alberta, are celebrating this movement of generosity by forwarding 100 per cent of all gifts made here to the charity (or charities) of your choice until December 31, 2025.
